The 2025 International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Modeling, and Intelligent Computing (CAMMIC 2025), hosted by Shanghai University, organized by the School of Science of Shanghai University, and co-organized by the AEIC Academic Exchange Center, was successfully held in Shanghai on March 21-22. The conference brought together experts and scholars from around the world to jointly discuss the latest advancements in the fields of applied mathematics, modeling, and intelligent computing.
The opening ceremony of the conference was chaired by Professor Zhu Peicheng from the School of Science at Shanghai University. Associate Dean Dai Ye of the School of Science at Shanghai University delivered the opening remarks, warmly welcoming the distinguished guests and participating scholars.
The conference featured keynote speeches by several internationally renowned scholars, including Professor Nishibata Shinya from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Professor Tang Shanjian from Fudan University, Professor Xiang Yang from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Shen Dong from Renmin University of China, and Professor Samad Noeiaghdam from Henan Academy of Sciences. They shared their latest research achievements in the fields of applied mathematics, modeling, and intelligent computing, sparking enthusiastic discussions and deep reflections among the attendees. The academic atmosphere on-site was highly engaging.
The conference was held in a hybrid format, attracting over one hundred experts and graduate students from universities and research institutions both domestically and internationally. It featured a diverse range of sessions, including oral presentations, poster displays, and a doctoral student forum. Young scholars showcased their research achievements, fostering the exchange and collision of academic ideas. To encourage academic innovation and communication, several awards were presented on-site, including Outstanding Paper, Excellent Young Scholar Presentation, and Best Poster, recognizing and encouraging scholars who demonstrated exceptional talent in their respective fields of study.
Through this conference, the experts not only shared valuable research experiences but also established broader collaborative and communicative relationships, laying a solid foundation for future interdisciplinary exchanges, cooperation, and collaborative innovation at our institute.
